This programme is designed for people who wish to gain an understanding of principles and practice teaching / classroom assistant roles and gain an accredited award relevant to employment.
The aims of the course are to provide comprehensive knowledge and skills appropriate to the conduct of a classroom support role, and to participation in a wide range of classroom support activities

Course fees: £345.00 if paid in full.

Pay monthly option: £99 Deposit followed by 6 monthly payments of £50.00. (Total fees of £399.00) Call in for guaranteed payment plan.


Entry requirements:

There are no previous skills or qualifications required to register for this study programme.  No school placement is necessary.

Support:

All students will be assigned a personal tutor with whom they may correspond with via telephone or email. Details will be in your course study pack.

Duration:

All students have one year to complete this course from date of registration. Average study of 60 hours.

Examination:

No examination is necessary

Assessment method:

This course is completed using continual assessment, allowing your tutor to closely monitor your progress every step of the way. Therefore no examination is required.

Qualification: 

OCNNWR Level 2 Teaching Assistant Certificate

This Course leads to an OCNNWR Level 2 Award Certificate for successful learners. That means that it is independently accredited at a level of learning equivalent to level 2 on the National Qualifications Framework (NFQ) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland (in which case GCSE's are at levels 1 and 2 and A Levels are at level 3). The Award has been designed by a learning provider to meet specific learners' or employers' requirements and as such is not listed as a qualification on NQF. While the duration, content or assessment may vary from similar national qualifications, in accrediting the programme at level 2; OCNNWR attests that its learning outcomes are at an equivalent level to a level 2 national qualification.. This course is validated by OCNNWR and provides 6 credits. These can be accumulated with other course or unit credits over a period of time which can lead to an accredited qualification.
The course is provided by Study House which is a recognised centre for courses validated by OCNNWR. OCNNWR provides validated courses through its provider organisations which must meet robust quality assurance standards. It is a licenced member of NOCN which is an approved awarding body licenced by QCA to offer accredited qualifications
